Close settings dialog takes a lot of time

      When clicking on the 'X' to close or just confirming with 'OK' the "settings" dialog it takes up to 10 seconds to close.

      Steps to reproduce:
      Tools -> options -> click the 'X' in the window title bar -> wait till the window closes

      OS is Windows 10 Pro
