Started a stash for local files of my git repo and decided to cancel shortly after clicking stash. After the cancellation, many of my local files were reset to the repository while also not being saved to the stash. Gone forever.
Please enhance the behavior of canceling a stash so that files are not removed until the stash process is completed.
