Since the update from 3.14.12 to 3.14.13 the "Remote" button seems broken

My repository is on HTTPS but if my repository is cloned via e.g.

https://some/path/repo.git

The "Remote" button instead tries to open the browser with

https://https://some/path/repo.git{}
