Severity 2 - Major
SourceTree does not display the list of files using the 'Sort by' option I last selected. It retains it but always defaults to showing the paths and files in reverse alphabetically order.
I've search high and low and don't seem to find a solution to this. Hoping that I missed a setting or something.
I would consider this to be a severity level of Major. More of an annoyance than anything else.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select the file/path sorting method
![]()
2. Click on a commit. Make sure you have more than one folder and multiple files at each node in the tree
3. The list of files are displayed alphabetically but in reverse ![]()
4. Change the Sort by to Path Alphabetically (reversed). The list remains in the same order
![]()
5. Change the Sort by to Path Alphabetically and it displays properly
![]()
6. Change to a different commit and it begins all over again
