Description
On Windows 10 (22H2, screen size 1920×1080) I sometimes end up with a very wide Description field, and then Date/Author/Commit end up outside the visible window, and it's impossible to get those three columns to take up just the needed space on the right and leave the rest to Description (as most people probably would want).
No amount of double-clicking or dragging column headings will let you achieve that, so it ends up like this:
Double-clicking on the left border of Date gives this:
OK, so I double-click on the border between Date and Author, et voilà:
Double-click yet again on the border between Author and Commit:
OK maybe now? Double-click on the right border of the Commit header:
Back to where I started 😣
So, let's drag the Description-Date border instead:
Maybe if I now scroll left and try to adjust?
And the other ones:
Now Author is too wide... so let's scroll back left and try fixing that:
So far so good...?
But, Commit is way too wide, so let's adjust it.
We need to scroll right and drag that end border:
Yep, yep, now Date/Author/Commit are just right!
Only thing left to fix is to widen the Description field to max available while keeping the other three the current size, so I'm trying to drag the Description-Date border, and bam! after moving one pixel, it reverts to this:{}
Back to where I started 🤬
Then on top of all this, it resets in random ways every time I restart and/or switch repositories (see SRCTREEWIN-1327).
