It would be helpful to include an –allow-empty Flag in the "Commit options" (in Addition to "Ammend Latest Commit", "Sign Off" etc)

This was already raised a year ago in https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/Empty-commits-in-Souretree/qaq-p/1566341.

I mainly wanted to add this as an official suggestion and add some use cases:

• Reviews where no change was necessary, but you want to keep a log in the history.
• Demonstrations for GIT processes
