      There's currently 'Open selected version', but this option is problematic for a lot of file types, since actually opening the file straight with whatever program is associated with that file type is more often than not what I want to do. Instead I'd want an option that is 'Checkout selected version', ideally it would pop a classic save file dialog where I can choose where to put & name the file, afterwards it would be nice if a file explorer instance could be started at that location. Alternatively it could check it out at a predetermined location automatically and then open a file explorer at that location, but that the first options is probably a better approach.

            Seems a duplicate of SRCTREEWIN-10953 but I'd keep this one (or even SRCTREEWIN-14154, also a duplicate) as they hold more detailed/better descriptions.
