2. attempt to run it

observed behavior

crash

expected behavior

any of the following would make sense:

• no reaction (this is what I based the time estimate on)
• warning at run-time: something to the effect of "can't run run your script"
• warning at creation time: something to the effect of "this custom action won't do anything"
