Diff view stops loading differences after a pull

    Description

      Loading the changelog for older commits (file changes and diffs) has deteriorated significantly after 2.3.5 - switching revisions lists the individual files and diffs quite fast for ~10 minutes of uptime, after that diffs stop loading until application restart. Diffs for local uncommited changes are normally working OK, remote diffs are not loading.
