Continuously a popup window is getting with error "Sh.exe Fatal Exception Exit".

We provided the SourceTree application thinapp to users and when they are working on that application they are getting an PoPup window continuously with "Sh.exe Fatal Exception Exit". Could you let us know how to resolve this. And could let us know how to disable the the checking the updates automatically.
