Commit button blocked

After staging some files or changing to the commit tab the commit button (the one below the commit message) does not work (it is not greyed out). It is pressable but did not react, also the push to master checkbox is greyed out. After several seconds the checkbox becomes available and the commit button works.

Waiting all the time is annoying.
