Git-flow feature with / in the name can't be completed

Discovered something strange.   If I create a feature branch and use a forward slash "/".   It is named "feature/...../...".  When you go to  finish it wants me to finish but the branch disappears from the list to finish.    I corrected by renaming the feature branch removing the /.   No errors go thrown
