            Thanks minnsey!

            Resolved the issue by:

            1. Deleting the target folder. May have to close Sourcetree and end tasks via Task Manager.
            2. Opening Sourcetree as Admin and selecting `Update Embedded`

Oh look another bug that has not been fixed yet. 2021 and still had to google WTF this problem was about. Today is the day I give up on Sourcetree.

            Hi

The update process can occasionally stall if there is a process running, e.g. Git Credential Manager or openssh, from inside the the git folders or if the process was installed as admin at any time.

Ultimately, closing Sourcetree and manually deleting the %localappdata%/Atlassian/Sourcetree/git_local folder and restarting Sourcetree will trigger an optional re-install of the bundled git.

I ran sourcetree as admin and was able to get beyond this issue
