Update To branch in sidebar doesn't relocate log view

In the log view, selecting a branch in the sidebar does NOT reliably reposition the log view to make that changeset visible.

This happens, for example, when the branch is right-clicked and updated to and sometimes when the branch is very far down when we update to it.

Also, if a branch is current but the log view doesn't show it (scrolled away), selecting, or double clicking on, the branch in the side-bar doesn't reveal it in the log view, whereas selecting another branch and then selecting the current one again DOES reposition the log view. This is silly and irritating.

This is most obvious when a repository has a large number of changesets and a complex graph.
