It's quite a cryptic thing to do via the git command line... but it's doable. How many times have you accidentally put the wrong ticket number into the commit? Which breaks all the automatic linkages with GitHub (and / or Jira). It's so easy to get wrong. I probably get it wrong about 10% of the time. Or sometimes I just get confused and write the wrong thing. We all make mistakes and I think this would be a great QOL enhancement.
