Git Update Issue

Whenever I update git (via Homebrew), Sourcetree loses track of the executable. I get a bunch of popups telling me it can't find it and all my repos are gone. When I go to Settings > Git and click "Use System Git", the window to locate the system git executable is already at the right location so I just have to click open and relaunch Sourcetree.

It's a minor annoyance, really, but maybe there's a quick fix? Thank you for your consideration of this important matter.
