It would be really nice if there was a find in history view. This would find based on commit message or the commit hash. It would simply highlight the item within history and have a mechanism to move between found items, exactly like find works in many other tools (ctl-f/cmd-f). This is important to find commits and see the context of the commit: what branch and when they occurred (as opposed to current search which is about looking at details of commit).
