            Hello, a6fdfb352d73
            Thanks for reporting this.

Could you please clarify the details a little? It will help us to identify the issue. Does it occurs when you are just launching Sourcetree application? Or does it occurs when you are trying to update Sourcetree? Could you also please specify the version of Sourcetree app, that you are using?

Confirmed : the newly released SourceCode 4.1.8 passes macOS security checks and installs without a hitch on macOS 12.4.

Now if only it didn't crash four times a day!! But given how long it took to fix an entry in an XML file even though it was affecting thousands of people, I'm not holding by breath here...

Almost a 1 month ago, Atlassian's "fix" was to withdraw Sourcetree_4.1.7_250 and revert all macOS downloads to the earlier Sourcetree_4.1.6_242. It remains unclear as to why Atlassian's vaunted develop/build/QA and release workflows for 4.1.7_250 entirely missed a 1 line XML version string typo that caused macOS security checks to block the install of 4.1.7_250.

I join @hairer in questioning the viability of Sourcetree's future here for what looks to be a trivial fix.

Does anyone else has the issue that sourcetree keeps crashing?

This is literally a matter of fixing one line in an XML file. The fact that something so trivial still isn't fixed more than a week after it was reported suggests that Sourcetree has been completely abandoned by Atlassian.
