Update for 4.1.7(250) repeatedly requested but update remains 4.1.7(243) when done

      Every day I'm being asked to install update 4.1.7(250) and after every install is completed, I check for software update and I'm told I need to install 417(250 because what is installed is 4.1.7(243).

      Same thing happens when I manually check for updates from the menu item and install (supposedly) version 4.1.7(250).

      I'm on a MacBook running 10.14.6.
