Fresh install on new MBA M1 - Big Sur 11.4 - cloned one Bitbucket repo using ssh - power consumption increased 4 fold during the time Sourcetree was installed (about a day) - excessive power consumption stopped as soon as it was uninstalled. Odd thing is that it seemed to be consuming power even though it was not apparently open - system reported it as a significant power consumer.

I've uninstalled Sourcetree.
