As Apple is shipping new Macbooks with Apple Silicon M1 chips, I wonder whether Sourcetree will have a native build for Apple Silicon. Or, does it work fine with Rosseta2?

How ever you would still be able to see the release notes once you have installed latest SourceTree version from Help Menu -> Release Notes.

            Thanks,

I'm still seeing the notice that this app won't be compatible in the future when I open the preferences pane.

Also, I can't find release notes on https://sourcetreeapp.com/ - please provide a link directly to them

So I checked out some repos via vscode and add the folders to SourceTree. Nothing worked - opening a repo I got 'git log' failed with code -1, 'git status failed' etc.

The problem seems to be with SourceTree using its embedded git - when I switched to external git (2.32.0), things were working much better - including output log for 'not a valid source URL'.

The source URLs still don't work when using multiple accounts, but that's not specific to this beta / M1 silicon.
