Add ability to selectively apply stash changes

I am able to selectively apply stash changes from the command line (at least at the file level) using something like this from [SO|http://example.com.|http://example.com]./] I'd also like to be able to do this from my favorite git tool.

our project has a bunch of intelliJ files and development configurations that often need to change during development which means often stashing a collection of files that are not wanted when we later go to apply said stashes.
