In 2.7.3 in repo browser I see all the private repositories of the organization belong to.

In 3.0.1 I only see my public repos, this makes the remote tab totally unusable for me. Not sure if it is related or not, but the OAUTH token that source tree creates, only asks for " Access public information (read-only)", which seems like it is too little.

[SRCTREE-6322] Remotes only display public github repos

            Fixed in Sourcetree 4.2.1

This is still not working. Please resolve this... it's been over 2 years.

GitHub is deprecating HTTP Basic Auth login.  Anytime a Basic Auth login is made, we get a warning email from GitHub.  I imagine I'm not the only one.  GitHub is warning us they are removing Basic Auth completely in the near future so I prioritized getting OAuth working.  Like others on this comment thread, I lost some time trying to figure this out.  Boris' workaround worked for me but it seems really odd that this isn't more streamlined for such a wonderful product.

That's really a pity to not be able to access our own organizations private repositories.

So I'm moving to GitHub Desktop, bye...

Would love to see this "fixed".  Spent over an hour figuring this one out.  The annoying part is that I've authorized iPad apps to access my github and they default to read/write permissions.  So, it's kind of a no-brainer that I'd want to use SourceTree on my computer to write to github

Same here on macOS. Windows 10 worked out of the box, though.

I am facing the same issue. Unable to access private repos via Sourcetree. Workaround suggested by Boris above worked. But, it would be nice to have this baked into the App itself instead of creating a personal token for this type of integration.

I have the same problem on Windows 10. I recently switched laptops and on my old it worked impeccably. I set up git and Sourcetree in the exact same way but now as last time but now have this bug.. Hope this gets fixed soon.
