• [OP] Checking out a remote branch containing a '&' character shows "Invalid remote branch". Checkout using terminal with quoted branch names fixes the issue.

- [Brian Ganninger] We’re enforcing the rules outlined here for security: https://git-scm.com/docs/git-check-ref-format …. If memory serves, ‘&’ is below 40 in ASCII. Adding an option to quote is a good enhancement request, there’s a link to the ticket tracker in Help menu.
