SourceTree has a very CPU utilisation constantly when running in the background. This is between 50-80% and is the most power consuming app. More than Chrome.

I see a "flicker" on the dots (build status) in the commit list. It could like they are being reloaded / re-drawn all the time. Maybe the whole view is being repainted constantly. Maybe that is a hint.

I also see a lot of entries in the log file:
