When writing commit message in the "File status" tab and clicking Command+Backspace (to remove current line) the action is handled by file list, not the text field.

When a file selected in the list I'll get confirmation window before loosing changes.

When submodule selected, it will be completely removed without any warning, loosing permanently plenty of uncommited files. And this happened to me twice in a few days.

I think that any action in the text field should be handled in a standard for this text field way.
