      Option has no effect, commits merge immediately even when "Commit merge immediately" is unchecked.

            Issue fixed in 4.2.5. Kindly upgrade the Sourcetree Version and verify.

            To be complete, I'm still experiencing this on:

             

            • MacOSX 10.13.2
            • SourceTree 2.6.3 (134)
            • git 2.14.3 (Apple Git-98)  <- Not sure if this is relevant

            I'd really like to kick this issue up. It's annoying me a lot. Sometimes when you want the mere to be committed, it doesn't commit. And sometimes when you don't want the merge to be committed, it simply commits it.

            Especially the last one is annoying, because I have no change to check what will be committed, and I might be committing something wrong.
