If you have a text cursor (i.e. empty selection) in the commit message field and type Cmd-C, instead of nothing happening ("Copy" shouldn't be enabled when nothing is selected) the clipboard is emptied instead. Given C and V are right next to each other on many keyboards, it's easy to lose data. Please fix this to leave the pasteboard alone.
