      Explanation

When you click ignore in the contextual menu on a file in source tree you'll get the follow options:

      1. Ignore exact filename
      2. Ignore all files with this extension
      3. Ignore everything beneath: [dropdown v]
      4. Ignore custom pattern

      It lacks the option

      • Ignore exact filename with path

      Example

The file in my version controlled folder is:
      app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/hackathon_emailpreview.xml

This will result in the following ignore strings:

      1. hackathon_emailpreview.xml
      2. *.xml
      3. app/(design/(adminhtml/(default/(default/(layout/)))))
      4. anything you type there

      but it lacks:

      • app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/hackathon_emailpreview.xml
