I know this was recently changed, in favor of making the non-destructive option the default. However, having to remember to check the box each time is just as irritating as having to remember to un-check the box each time. The dialog should remember what my last selection was (similar to the way that the "Push changes immediately" checkbox does).

Short of that, I'd like some option in Preferences to revert back to the old behavior.
