If a user has multiple remotes configured for a repository, it would be useful to disable certain remotes (say from other developers) so that branches from those do not clutter the view. When the user wants to checkout a certain branch from a disabled remote, they would re-enable the remote before checking out the branch. By default, all remotes should be enabled.
