"Discard file" on a directory in the staged pane also affects its files in the unstaged pane. This is unexpected behavior since the two panes are visually separated.

This might show up most if you have a partially staged, partially unstaged file. Lets say there's a few other staged files in the same directory. I decide that I need to discard all of the staged parts, so I use Discard file on the directory. I go back to that partially staged/unstaged file and can't find the unstaged work that I had done before.

Workaround: Don't Discard file on directories. I changed from Fluid staging to No staging to reduce the likelihood of this.
