    Description

I'm finding the new dynamically moving checkbox staging area to be frustrating, counter productive and a real slow down in efficiency.

E.g, I click something to add, then move mouse to click the next file i've already spotted and it moves from its position (due to the first file moving up and the order of files changing).
I end up clicking the file that was shifted to its place and it gets added instead, I then usually have to go and un-click it as i did not want to stage that file or at least lookup and double check what it was to see if i did need to add it.

It's too much disruptive movement and trying to click moving targets is a UX experience best left in experimental flash web sites from the early 2000s. Not otherwise excellent source control software.

I'm aware i can turn the "staging area" mode off, but this does not change what is a really poor experience. The previous two separate panes for staged and un-stagged files was more clearer and not in the slightest a maddening shooting gallery
