The supposedly better looking diff view in 1.9 makes it harder to distinguish hunks. I don't mind the changed colors, but I do object to the removal of borders between hunks. Unlike the extraneous and cluttering lines between filenames introduced in 1.9, the separators in 1.8.1 had a purpose – they helped you very quickly see the hunks. Please do something so that this is once again the case.
