The new commit view (the check mark at the top left) is very disappointing. I liked being able to browse the folders, and now that it is all just one huge list it is fairly overwhelming especially if there are a lot of files. I preferred the old browser setup greatly.

While it is a bit dated and no longer under development you may want to take a look at how machg does things. It is quite well designed, though both sourcetree and machg have their pros and cons.
