All our code is written using standard text editor default tab width of 8, but when I view a file within SourceTree, it renders tabs as exactly 4 spaces (not the same as having a tab width set to 4, I cannot imagine this works well for anybody using tabs), breaking indentation alignment.

I can configure the font used for display, and would request that a configuration option for tab width be available on the same pane of the Preferences.
