In the file status list, long filenames/paths are truncated with ellipses if they don't fit within the available column width (e.g. file-list-truncated.png). This can make it difficult to see what's going.

It would be nice to be able to resize the column so I can scroll horizontally and see the full name.

There's a hacky workaround which I sometimes use:

The columns can be reordered by dragging them to a new position. If the final column is resizable (i.e. filename or path) then resizing the pane will cause that column to be resized to match the available width of that pane, truncating names if they don't fit. The other columns won't be affected.

However, the status column isn't resizable. If this column is the last position then the filename/path columns can be resized as desired and won't be affected when resizing the pane (e.g. file-list-horizontal-scroll.png).

(SRCTREE-1273 may be related but I think it refers to another part of the UI.)
