Working in a collaborative environment, I basically never ever need to have my user login added to a submodule reference when I create one.
If I'm not extra careful with that, it's then pushed to remote with my login, which my teammates don't usually enjoy at their next pull.

It would be great to add this as a user preference not to add the login by default.
