Safari was getting slow, so I fired up Activity Monitor to try to sample it and see what was happening. I immediately noticed the attached screenshot. SourceTree was clearly leaking memory, using over 5GiB of RPRVT. Beating mds at leaking memory is not easy. ![]()
I have it set to "Check default remotes for updates every 10m". All projects are git.
Sorry that I didn't think to try any diagnosis, but I was paging out on a machine with 48GiB of RAM, so I was more about exiting processes instead of debugging why.
