I suggest adding a menu item under the Custom actions menu saying "Edit custom actions..." It's hard to find under prefernces when I'm looking for custom actions. (Put it where my attention is.) I would also remove the tab from preferences, but I'd understand if inertia compels you to keep it there.

[SRCTREE-1402] Add Edit item to Custom Actions menu

This is fixed for our next beta release and its subsequent GA (general availability)

It's not even under "Preferences" anymore, it's under "Settings". The "Custom Actions" menu item is just an plain item, with no submenu, that does nothing when clicked. It looks and feels broken, because it looks like a plain item, and does nothing when you click it. You have to go hunting all over the web to figure out that you have to set these up in a completely separate location.

Custom actions are applicable to all repositories which is why it's a application preference. The custom actions are two clicks away from any place. The custom actions aren't something you change often, they're usually set up for some action you do often enough to justify a keyboard shortcut and something external to SourceTree.

I'm not aware of a "Custom actions" menu in SourceTree. The "Actions" menu isn't relative to the custom actions, a custom action can do just about anything, whereas the actions menu is a repository-specific concept.

Perhaps you're confusing "Actions" and "Custom Actions"? They may sound similar, but they're two completely different concepts.
