The File Contents window doesn't properly display the contents when a staged or committed file is using CR line endings (example of such a file attached to this ticket for your convenience).

• It thinks the entire file is a single line. "1 lines added" in the top summary
• The first line is green/red with the +/- sign in the 3rd column
• The remaining lines have the first character in the 3rd column instead of in the "body" window pane

This only happens with staged/committed files. When previewing a file that is in the working tree, it shows properly.
