My project uses git cherry-pick -x <SHA> to preserve history when cherry picking. SourceTree should provide a way to set this. Either as a preference for all git cherry-pick commands or in a dialog box when performing the cherry pick.

[SRCTREE-1152] Cherry pick does not allow me to add options

This is great new Brian! Thanks for the update. I hope to see this mindset of surfacing some of Git's less fundamental options for various commands throughout the UI. Keep up the great work.

            Hi folks,

We're revising the cherry pick dialog in our next minor update and it has a checkbox to "Include commit ID(s) in merge's commit message" to pass the -x option. The -m request is tracked by the related ticket, also slated for 3.2.

This issue is also present on the Windows version of Sourcetree.

Any news on when this feature will be implemented?

Supporting `-m` option for cherrypicking merge commits would be very useful, too

Having a choice of "Always between tracking and remote branches, never between private branches" would be useful too.

Yes, supporting '-x' is a must.

Please add a config option "Append original commit ID to cherry-pick" = (Always|Ask|Never) and a dialog displaying similar question when cherry picking.
