At the moment if someone else deletes a remote branch, it won't disappear from your repo unless you use the toolbar Fetch button and check the 'Prune' option. If you fetch from the sidebar, or let the scheduled fetch do that for you, then the remote branch will never disappear.

It would be useful to offer a Preferences option to always prune when fetching so that this happens more predictably.
