Currently, Confluence Source Editor is not data center compatible. This is an add-on used by several customers and it would be a great improvement if it was Data Center compatible.

We have moved to Mohammed paid one and it really works much better and nice.

Just to be clear... this is two years old and is still in "New" status? Is there any intention of addressing this functionality gap in the DC edition? It sounds very much like customers might just as well go told they need to pay for the better maintained plugin instead. I am curious why someone just hasn't made that call and closed this, for clarity if nothing else.

@Ross, send me an email if your company decides to purchase, I'm sure we can work out some sort of discount to allow it to fall within your companies budget.

Yes, I too would like to see the free one updated. I would be happy with either, but I think my company will reject my request to purchase... they tend to be cheapskates when IT asks for things without a clear ROI that ties in with business wants. Can't really blame them for that but given that we have lots of users on atlassian products but very fewer users who would edit source code... I think it unlikely that they'll fork out several hundred bucks here.

@Areg, You can see a list of changes here. In summary we've fixed a lot of bugs and added a few features as well.

            Hi Mohammed

Yes I found it. We are really hoping that free version will be checked and be marked as compatible for DC edition.

Also I am trying to figure out what are the differences between the free Atlassian and Mohamicorp one.

            Regards,

            Areg

@Ross No problem. And you're correct that our plugin is a fork of the one Atlassian developed.

@Areg The one me and Ross are talking about is here:
            https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.mohamicorp.html.source.editor.for.confluence/server/overview

@Mohammed - Ah, I see it now; must have had 'Cloud' selected by accident. Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

@Areg - That one is separate. If I understand correctly 'Confluence Source Editor' was the original which I think was developed by Confluence and 'Source Editor for Confluence' is either a fork or a separate effort that does similar and was developed by Mohamicorp. Dinesh/Mohammed are referring only to the new one ('Source Editor for Confluence'). The original still does not have either flag currently.

I just checked the Marketplace and attached screnshot.

It does not have DC tag - so someone need to really check if this got released !!!
