      We already officially support Docker and release official images for Jira in https://hub.docker.com/r/atlassian/jira-software. At the moment, for EAP version releases, they are only provided in the standard Linux/Windows installer and archive (Zip and Tar), from https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download-eap.

      It would be really good if EAP version releases are provided in the form of Docker images. After all, this is what Docker is useful for.

            dchevell, thank you! I see both `8.10.0-EAP01` and `8.10.0-EAP02` now.

            Hey 2b646f77faca,

            With the underlying fix, hopefully you shouldn't need to in future - however if you do run into an issue, post in community.atlassian.com and it should get picked up. You're welcome to tag me there as well.

            For now, I've rerun our new releases Docker build and this time it's picked up 8.10.0-EAP2 (and EAP1, etc). You should be all set.

            Cheers

            Dave

            dchevell, could you please explain who and where I should ask in the future in case I find an EAP version that is not published in Docker hub? Should I ask you in this ticket or send a message to some chat or ask somewhere else?

            sstopkin thanks for catching that, the failure to capture this version is a bug. We don't really have a public API to list available EAP versions so the implementation here is a bit of a hack, to be honest, and the missing version is an oversight on my part. It should be fixed in the next 24 hours and then going forward.

            @dchevell

            According https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SCALE-14 all EAP releases should be available in Docker Hub.

            But as I can see - no one of Jira 8.10 EAP* has not been published in docker hub. Latest availabe EAP is 8.9.0 EAP02.

            It would be great to have all latest releases available in docker hub. Thank you.

            We updated our tooling to allow the detection and publishing of EAP releases, and updated our Bitbucket Pipelines configurations of our DC Docker images (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crowd) to use this new functionality. EAP releases for our Docker images are now automated.
