      Workaround

This behavior appears to be related to the Privacy & Security changes described here:
Privacy & Security tab improvements: new PATCH API and adjustments to Data Residency and Disk Encryption response options

Per this change, if you select “No” for the question “Does your app store End-User Data outside of Atlassian products and services?”, the disk encryption question is hidden and customers will automatically see “Not Applicable” for the disk encryption field. For some apps that process but do not store End-User Data, this can cause an error the next time you edit responses.

To reset the configuration for the impacted app, use the Web Form UI and follow these steps:

      1. Open the Web Form UI for the affected app.

      2. Locate the question: “Does your app store End-User Data outside of Atlassian products and services?”

      3. Temporarily change the answer to “Yes”, then change it back to “No”.

      4. Click Save.

After this reset, you should be able to edit and save the Privacy & Security responses without encountering the error.
