How it is

To receive emails related to new app versions, a customer needs to do both:

• Watch the app in the Marketplace.

• • This is done by accessing an app listing, clicking on the … → Watch App

• Enable Atlassian Events notifications in the email preferences center. To do this:

• • Access https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/email

• • Under the Email Notifications tab, click on email preferences center.

• • On the site that opens, check that the Atlassian Events checkbox is marked.

The suggestion

The Atlassian Events option is listed under Learning Resources, which isn’t very intuitive. The option to receive emails related to new app versions could be decoupled from the Atlassian Events option and placed in a new section that makes more sense.
