The older billing system generated invoices for every license, regardless of whether it was free or paid.

The new billing system does not generate invoices if:

• The app is free,

• No transaction/billing account is set up by the customer,

• The license is in a grace period.

Removing $0 transactions from the transaction reports creates a critical gap in our ability to understand how long a customer has been using a free edition. This is an important signal for customer engagement, conversion tracking, and downstream reporting.
