Problem Definition
At this current point in time there is no way for marketplace vendors to access the profile of the Atlassian Account of the user associated to their app. Therefore, in order to change display name or avatar picture or any other detail of the users associated to their app(s), vendors have to contact the developer support team at go.atlassian.com/devhelp.
Suggested solution
It should be possible for app vendors/developers to edit the profile of the Atlassian Account of the user(s) created for their app(s) so that they can change these details by themselves.

Please use below link to create a Developer Support request asking to have your app-user name or avatar picture updated:

+1 this would be a great feature indeed. Got some great help from Caterina Curti and a team in the bckground that updated our app user name and profile image. But would be great to do this as well. Thank you
