      Hey Team,

We have a request from the partners/customers where they have reported that after moving to the new billing engine, the ability to stop trial anytime has been moved and the customers are not able to do it from their end and rather have to wait for the 30 day period or reach out to the licensing team. This is not going well for customers who would like the have the control on the stopping the trial and have raised the concern to the Support teams.

Can you please look into this?

[MP-266] Need control on Stop Trial from Customer side

            Hey lauma.cirule

The team have confirmed that they are already working on a similar request here - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MP-239

You can follow that up too since it's already reached out by multiple partners.

            Regards,

            Garvit

            Hi,

I am Lauma from eazyBI, and I discussed this with f47f2dce09c1.
Our primary concern is not about stopping the trial but about the ability to uninstall the app. Customers may need to uninstall the app for various reasons, such as genuinely not wishing to continue with an app or, for technical reasons, requiring a reinstall.

Gravit informed us that uninstall is inactive while the trial period continues (as detailed here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/can-t-uninstall-apps-after-cancellation-1369277736.html). However, we believe this policy should be reconsidered. Customers should be able to install and uninstall the app without contacting support and navigating which support team to reach out to.
